The history of white wedding dress

As a youngster - or perhaps even as an adult, you have Sun dreamily imagining yourself in a fairy tale wedding dress, your own prince to marry. What color is the wedding? Chances are, it is white. Millions of girls and women who dream of the perfect marriage have a vision of the perfect white wedding dress in their minds. Why white? Where did this tradition come from?
Women are not always married white
Indeed, the great scheme of things, that tradition is not that old. White wedding dress has a deep rooted tradition and a lot of time on that ground, as well as to preserve the tradition in general: Millions to billions of women around the world began to think of the perfect white wedding dress, before they even perfect partner.
Great Britain is a place, with the order of the day, traditions and legends, so it is not surprising that the tradition of white wedding dress was the British monarchy began. It was the marriage of Queen Victoria, which will result in interest and popularity of white wedding dresses, as we know it today.
Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxony in 1840, was a flamboyant white gown and wear that. Of course, it is not just a tradition, however, many women see as a statement of class and style, then a copy of the Queen's wedding.
White wedding dress in those days had nothing to do with the virtuous, it was all about wealth. Wedding white, extravagant gown was a sign that you can not afford a dress that you can never wear it again for its style and color (whites were not easy to clean in those days than today) .
Of course, women are still married to different styles and colors, and clothes - it was only the rich and vain, that claims to follow in the footsteps of the rich white monarch. However, during Edwardian times, a white wedding dress once more soared to new heights of popularity, as coco Chanel has announced its new knee-length white wedding dress, complete with extravagant train.
